Statistics have been showing a long-term lack of pupils' interest in technical fields of study and secondary schools. Lower-secondary schools have to respond to this situation. This paper discuss about the simulation, her purpose, meaning, principles and uses in practice and teaching. The paper deals with next topics: general tasks of simulation, investigation of today's theory and practice condition, acquaint oneself with simulation's progressing, reasons for simulation's using, simulation employ to design, development, mounting and manufacturing systems for operating and uses of virtual reality in simulation. This contribution contains a focus of current simulation software used in assembly and manufacturing systems. General educational programs, which are implemented today in the educational practice of schools, require students´ preparation to find their place in the world of work. The article focuses on selected context of the students´ preparation for career decision, especially on connections between the self-knowledge and self-presentation of students, namely which are based on the findings of student's opinions on the preparation in secondary schools using a questionnaire.

DYNAMIC GEOMETRY SYSTEMS (DGS) - SOFTWARE SUPPORT FOR EDUCATION

The paper presents the characteristics of the most widely used software products with the common name "dynamic geometric systems" in Slovakia, which are designed to teach plane geometry in elementary and secondary schools, and colleges that prepare teachers of mathematics too. Attention is given to three programs: Cabri Geometry, Compass and Ruler and GeoGebra. The aim is to give some parameters in comparison of nominated programs that are crucial in selecting of the environment for a particular mathematical task and its implementation.

EDITING OF MATHEMATICAL TEXTS ON LMS WEB PAGES

The article offers the authors of mathematical texts two ways how to write mathematical texts rich in mathematical formulas on the web pages. Both of the introduced ways give quality outputs for the first sight and every user without any deeper ICT skills is able to understand the algorithm and easily place mathematical formulas on the internet. In the conclusion is made a comparison of both, while the main emphasis is laid on the possibility to edit the formulas on the web quickly in future.

In the article we present a variant of the mathematic education's didactic test created in the program Hot Potatoes, which deal with the theme solving linear equations. The role of the didactic test is not only the investigating of the knowledge and the understanding of students of the topic, but also the verification their thought processes and mathematic reasoning for the solving of the word tasks of the move, the working together and the blends; for the tasks focusing on the search of the unknown numbers and on the calculation of people's age.
